Yes, forever. No credit card, and no limit on how many manuscripts or runs.
When can I use it?
Atlas arrives in October 2026. Get early access and we will tell you the day it opens; early-access members get in first. The same account works in Weave Stream today, so you do not have to wait to start.
What does Atlas need from my manuscript?
The title and abstract, and your fields of study as MeSH terms. That is enough to match your work against journal scopes: there is no file to upload and no formatting to fix first.
Which journals does Atlas know about?
Every major neuroscience journal, and the journals in neighbouring fields that publish neuroscience. The catalogue grows daily, and other fields of study will follow.
Does a high rank guarantee acceptance?
No. Atlas ranks how well each journal fits your manuscript and your priorities, and shows you why; the decision is yours. What raises your chances is what comes next: Weave for Word checks the draft against that journal's requirements and reads it the way a referee will, and a human expert at Scribendi or Edanz is one click away. Together they give a manuscript a far better chance than a good journal pick alone.
Do I need Horizon?
No. Atlas works on its own. Setting a target journal is there for when your manuscript has a project, and the same account works across Weave.
Is my manuscript used to train Weave AI?
No. Your title and abstract are used to rank journals for you, and for nothing else.
Is it only for neuroscience?
Atlas is built and tuned for neuroscientists: the fields of study and the journal matching are optimized for that domain first.
